Field Training

Field Training   field training 2

Field Training is a required training event that takes place between a cadet’s sophomore and junior years and is required to enter the Professional Officer Course. It gives the opportunity to develop and practice leadership skills and teamwork. The training includes physical conditioning, marksmanship training, survival training, Air Force specialty orientation, confidence courses, group leadership projects, human relations, drill and ceremonies, leadership study, and group and expeditionary leadership activities. It also spans two different settings–in garrison and in the field–designed to test leadership across different environments.
