Cornell University’s chapter of Scabbard and Blade–Charlie Company, First Regiment–is the third company to have formed, founded in 1906. Scabbard and Blade at Cornell honors those members of the three commissioning programs–Army ROTC, Naval ROTC, and Air Force ROTC–who best exemplify the qualities of academic strength, service to community, and outstanding ethical and moral character.
Color Guard
The Joint Service Color Guard consists of cadets and midshipmen from the Army ROTC, Naval ROTC, and Air Force ROTC programs. The all-volunteer Color Guard presents the nation’s Colors at Cornell University sporting events, as well as other engagements across the Finger Lakes region.
